Frequently asked questions

Short answers to what clients ask first. Every project is different, so we confirm the details in the first call.

Can a foreign company own 100% of a Saudi company?

Full foreign ownership is available in many activities, subject to the applicable rules. MISA investment registration and any activity-specific approvals must be checked for your planned business.

How long until the company can operate?

Usually 3 to 6 months: investment registration, commercial registration, tax and social insurance registration, the general manager’s residency and a bank account. The timing depends on the activity, documentation and required approvals.

Do we need to travel to Saudi Arabia?

Not for most steps. Our team in Riyadh handles the local work with the authorities. You sign the documents and join the key meetings.

Should we do a market study before setting up?

We recommend it. A short study sizes demand, prices and competitors and checks local content rules, so the company is set up for the business you will actually do.

What happens after registration?

ZATCA tax registration, Chamber of Commerce, GOSI and Qiwa for employees, visas and a bank account. We coordinate these steps so the company can hire, invoice and get paid.
